What's the Buzz?

"Keeping" bees is a sweet labor of love for us.  While we do it primarily for the pollination and altruistic reasons, it has some other really great rewards!  The wax, as we harvest the used cells, makes great health, beauty aid and home products.  The propolis is an indispensable item in our medicine chest.  The honey; well...  What could be better?   

2015 First Swarm

Today we got the first bee swarm removal call of 2015.  How exciting!  Lisa, of Springfield, was our gracious and concerned host.  She called us  on the phone at the perfect time, we were available to come right over, and here's what we saw:
